This is a reproduction of my original pen and ink drawing of The Ruins at Holliday Park which is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Originally part of the St. Paul building in Manhattan, “The Races of Man” figures, built of Indiana limestone are, now, part of an installation at Holliday Park in Indianapolis known simply as The Ruins. They were originally constructed in the 1890’s. After having become very run down, the ruins have recently been renovated and were just reopened in September 0f 2016.
This drawing was completed in October of 2016.
I'm a retired interior designer who loves architecture and doing obsessively rendered architectural drawings. I also enjoy painting, gardening, traveling with my husband and hiking with my dogs. If I ever complete my list of requested drawings of architecture from universities in Indiana, (mostly), I would like to start doing drawings of sites from my travels.
